Pittsfield Concrete Company was founded in 2023 by a crew that had spent years doing concrete work across Berkshire County and western Massachusetts. We watched too many homeowners get burned by contractors who used the wrong mix for this climate, skipped base preparation, or disappeared after taking a deposit. We started this company to do it differently.
Pittsfield is our home. We know the freeze-thaw cycles that crack driveways from November through March. We know the older housing stock - the two-family homes near downtown, the houses built during the GE years, the properties out near Pontoosuc Lake with their larger lots and longer driveways. We know what the soils here do to a slab that was not prepped correctly.
